About recording of Rolande Falcinelli

There are rumours going around on some American and English websites about the release of a CD bearing the title "Rolande Falcinelli: l'oeuvre pour orgue, Vol. 1", which is being falsely advertised as though it were recorded on the organ of the Saint-Sauveur Cathedral in Aix-en-Provence by an unknown organist.

The advertisement comes with the audio excerpt of one of the very few works for beginners by the composer (as well as the unauthorised reproduction of the published score).
The composer's heir and the titular organist of Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, Chantal de Zeeuw, jointly warn musicians and music lovers against this fraud, which is neither true or authorised.

The release of audio samplings of historical organs - including precisely the Ducroquet organ of Saint-Sauveur, Aix-en-Provence - by a software company might add some technological background to this fraud.
We would like to remind that all authentic and advisable recordings by and about Rolande Falcinelli are shown on the website www.augure-autourdejeanguillou.org
